filerview java errors (ClassNotFoundException)

I was trying to update some information in my filer using options and running into a wall, so I thought I'd try filerview. On Mac,Linux, Windows it wouldn't work. I kept getting the same error: Exception: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.netapp.admin.FilerAutosupportConfigUIApplet.class I found this article on the now site that spoke of the issue. The problem is with tls 1.0 being turned on and ssl being enabled on the filer. I didn't even know there was a control panel in the linux install, but you learn something everyday...

On my system, the control panel was /usr/java/jre1.6.0_21/bin/ControlPanel, your mileage may vary. Under the advanced settings, go to security and disable tls 1.0. After that it works great. Nice simple fix.
