There are probably a million better ways to do these, but these are tricks that I keep using (I'm well on my way to becoming an old crusty unix guy :-( )
I purchased a Proxima DPP6850 off ebay.
Because the projector is a few years old, it doesn't have any component video capability. It has composite, s-video and two rgbvh (VGA) inputs.
The Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) has many messages that
are identified by a "type" field. I use the types to specify what actions to take in my custom iptables config.
Digital AV Out
To watch Gamecube games in progressive scan, you need to have a gamecube with digital out. Since 2004, Nintendo took the digital port off the gamecube. You can get your gamecube replaced with a model with the port directly from Nintendo.
- Black/Blank Screen First time I tried it, kernel boots then nothing.
Sleeping
First problem, sleeping, the SATA bridge doesn\'t sleep properly and therefore doesn\'t come back after resume. The infamous SATA ACPI patch at http://lkml.org/lkml/2005/9/23/97 seems to have solved this for me. I added the patch to the latest FC4 rpm and renamed (to be polite).

We were specifically trying to get skype to work on a sunray. We got audio working by configuring kde.
When trying to add a Windows 2003 server to a 2000 domain, adprep would fail with this error:
F:I386>adprep /forestPrep
ADPREP WARNING:
Before running adprep, all Windows 2000 domain controllers in the forest should
be upgraded to Windows 2000 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with QFE 265089, or to Windows
2000 SP2 (or later).
QFE 265089 (included in Windows 2000 SP2 and later) is required to prevent poten
tial domain controller corruption.
