mine is sporatic, but I would say for the most part it remains off, even while connected and passing traffic. You may be having the mode problem I mentioned in another post, search for mode should find it...good luck!

Hello guys,
I have a T60 on RedHat EL 5 with kernel 2.6.18-1-4, I have rebuild madwifi 0.9.2-1-1 from source, I modprobe it correctly, I can scan wireless network, but I can't connect to wireless network( I used NetworkManager, I don't try manually with iwconfig, I will do it) but I'm not writing about that.
I would like to known if your wireless led is on when you try to connect to a network, mine is always off.

Thanks
